Lobuche Peak is known as Lhauche among the Locals. This beautiful summit rises above the town of Lhauche which is just a few kilometer from the Mt. Everest. There exist two distinct summits on this peak and your objective is to get on the 6,119m high eastern summit. Your climbing route on this peak is South Ridge.

The peak being an attractive offers various existing routes and also a probability of new ones. The rocky dark triangle of east face rises down the moraines of Khumbu Glaciers to a pleasant skyline, forming the south face. By descending a marked notch and climbing steep snowy slopes to the top to reach Lobuche East. From the summit, you have a great view of Mt. Everest and Himalayan panorama that include all important peaks in the Khumbu Valley.

Fly from Kathmandu towards Lukla (2886m.) which takes about 30 minutes and trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) and it takes approximately three hours.

Trek from Phakding towards Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) and it takes around five hours.

Day 3

Day rest at Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) for acclimatization.

Trek from Namche Bazaar towards Tyangboche (3867 m.) which takes about five hours.

Trek from Thyangboche towards Pheriche and it takes about five hours.

Trek from Pheriche towards Lobuche which takes about five hours.

Trek from Lobuche towards Kala Patthar via Gorakshep (m.) and trek back towards Gorakshep and it takes around five hours.

Trek from Gorakshep towards Everest Base Camp (m.) and back.

Trek from Lobuche towards Lobuche Base Camp which takes about four hours.

Day 10

Rest at Lobuche Base Camp and making necessary preparation for summit.

Summit and back towards Base Camp and it takes about ten hours.

Trek from Lobuche Base Camp to Dingboche which takes about five hours.

Trek from Dingboche to Thyangboche and it takes about four hours.

Trek from Tyangboche towards Namche Bazaar (3440 m) which takes around four and half hours.

Trek from Namche Bazaar towards Lukla (2886 m.) and it takes around five hours.

Day 16

Fly from Lukla towards Kathmandu. You take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu.

  • Necessary porters including a cook and a kitchen helper (one porter can carry the luggage upto 20 kilograms)

  • Garbage disposal deposit .But this amount is refundable to you after your arrival from the trek.
